Fun in the Sun- Part 1

It was a fantastic weekend last week out in the Crowsnest Pass. We spent the weekend doing dog things that didn't look anything like training for a dog sport and we loved it! The dogs were wiped. Hiking and then the going to the lake on Saturday and then more walking in the heat on Sunday. They were still in recovery mode on Monday, it was awesome!

First we went hiking to Josephine Falls and practiced getting some action shots in the sun. I might need some more practice ...

City boy in the woods

Penny's idea of "action"
My tiny sun worshiper. She's quite cute about it and follows the sun around the house and up the stairs in the afternoon at home.

OMG it's getting away

He almost looks fast here!

Then we practiced getting shots for the blog header ...

I'm actually incredibly happy with this since Spencer is being awesome. He can be a bit of a resource guarder and doesn't share well, especially with strange dogs. It's something we work on all the time and at least within the house there is little to no snarking when food is present.

Less crappy action shots ...

Spin and Twist - not much action. But I love how his tail curls in the direction he's going. It's a little difficult to direct the dogs and take the photograph at the same time!
