Baxter

Baxter used to be my parents dog until I moved out and he came to stay when my parents went away for a weekend. I didn't let him go home again, he's too smart to be left "just" a pet. Baxter is the dog that got me into dog sports and training!

Baxter is a Tibetan Spaniel, or Tibby. He competes in AAC agility. So far Baxter plays only agility, but he's doing very well for his breed!

If he was registered with the AAC as a Tibetan Spaniel (long story) he would actually be the first Tibetan to attain a ATChC!

Penny

Penny is my "first dog" (although she's smaller than most cats.) Penny did puppy kindergarten and some agility foundation work, but she was most interested in being a Princess.

As she has matured, so has her drive and enthusiasm to play with people! Penny is learning to play rally-o. We may never compete, but it gives her something to do with her brain.

We did learn how to play agility, but Penny has issues with ETS and will stutter and crash 6" jumps, so she will never compete.

Being a Princess - if there is a available lap, a patch of sun or a good vantage point for watching out the window to protect the house, she's there!

Spencer

Forever my baby.

He is a Chihuahua with some Boston Terrier in there. Spencer wasn't exactly planned, but at 8 weeks when it was apparent he has confidence and fear issues he came home with me.

Spencer has come a long, LONG way from that terrified baby who would pancake, piddle and shut down completely.

He plays AAC agility and is learning to play rally-o. He's my snuggle bug and toy obsessed bad little black dog.

Smart as a whip, fast and enthusiastic at home but with the behavioral and environmental sensitivities he's brought ME so far as a trainer.

Sizzle

Not really a planned puppy, the opportunity came up and I couldn't say no. Sizzle is a performance bred Shetland Sheepdog from HyperHounds.

The moral of the story being, don't go snuggle 5 week old puppies unless they're all spoken for!

Sizzle is such a fantastic, fun little puppy. She's sassy, naughty and sweet all at the same time. She's my first CKC registered puppy and will be learning "all the things."

I'm so excited to have a HyperHounds puppy! HyperHounds Dog Training is actually were my dog training journey started and I'm super excited to see where Sizzle and I go together.
